What activities do you have planned for your little kids over the weeklong break from school?

We're planning daytrips to the Buffalo Zoo and the Strong National Museum of Play. We have a few playdates with classmates and other friends set up. We have some craft projects ready. We've been learning new card games. We are doing a lot of baking. The rest is yet unplanned.

My kids just want to stay home this week. We are always doing something so when we all sat down to see what everyone wanted to do over the break they all said they'd like to stay home. They each have a friend coming over one day though which will be good.

We don't have a lot planned. My husband is off this week since he is a teacher, so we are going to get some projects done around here.

We're so busy with musical rehearsals/sets, dr appts, lesson,...that we won't be bored for this break.

My son led me to believe that his term paper could be wrapped up in a day and that has turned out to be far from true. We had to cancel some plans and rearrange our days to accodate the fact that he needs to put a lot more time into this. It's a good thing my daughter has playdates scheduled and that I have time to do some baking, crafts, and games with her this week because she doesn't have him to play with now. I really hope he can wrap this up by Friday.
