If you could have a dream kitchen makeover, unlimited by budget, what would you want in your dream kitchen?

Two refrigerators?
A professional stove?
Double Ovens?
An extra prep sink?
Special countertops?
Accent lighting?

Definitely a professional stove and double ovens! I love the idea of a built in window seat/dining area that is pictured in remodeling magazines too. Ah, to dream!

I would love a 5 or 6 burner gas stove and proofing oven. I am fantasizing about rearranging the appliances in my kitchen in order to make it happen some day. I have a really huge house with an annoyingly small kitchen.

Let's see, money's no object huh?? I would go with getting a professional chef and have it outfitted to his/her standards. Then (s)he could cook for me!

I have spent an insane amount of time dreaming about this subject. I literally drool over kitchen shows on HGTV. My current kitchen drives me crazy - it's far too small and my particle board cabinets are falling apart. If I had an unlimited budget, I would definitely create a larger space with professional appliances, modern cabinetry, and beautiful Carrera counters. Create something really sleek with lots of storage. I would love to have double ovens, possibly a pizza oven... I love the idea of having an extra faucet next to the range for filling pots and I could definitely make use out of two dishwashers. Anyway - it's fun to dream.

I am going to do a remodel eventually because we also have particle board cabinets and they are falling apart. Also, they are white and in kitchen with southern exposure they look terrible. I want to replace them with good wood cabinetry and solid surface countertops. I also hate my white porcelin sink. It needs constant scrubbing. I'm sick of it.

I have to say I have the best kitchen. I have a giant fridge and range. I have a double oven, which was a must when we were designing there was no way I wasn't getting one. We had to get electric in order to get the regular size ovens it took some getting used to but it works. We have a huge island with a little sink in one corner. I have a nice size pantry, and at the end of the kitchen, a breakfast nook. Lots of light to off set the dark cabinets (which my husband wanted, I wanted white) We love it. When we bake my kids all have their own place so there is no fighting!

The only thing I'd do different is not put in stainless steel appliances. I hang the dish towel on the dish washer handle and the front of the dish washer has streaks all down it and water marks are very hard to clean. I'm not sure where else to put the darn towel. The fridge is another problem. Smuges all over it! I seem to be cleaning it all the time and the smell of the cleaner makes me so sick!

We just got done remodeling our kitchen. It took alot of saving up to do it the way we wanted but I love how it ended up! We put in all new quartz counter tops, which were a must for me I hated the laminate we had, all new cabinets, a island that has the stove top built in with a grill in it,a round sink for prep, and the double ovens. It turned out amazing! Gail we had a white porcelin sink before and I ffeel your pain it was so hard to keep clean I was glad to get ride of it!

Did you use one of the local kitchen design companies for the remodel? It sounds amazing!

We used home depot to order everything because we had alot of gift cards stock piled from there. The only thing we had them install was the counters. We had found the cabinets we liked on a website and home depot happen to have them my husband and his buddies put them in themselves. We went with all black appliances, which I love the finger prints wipe right off.

I would love a double oven and an actual pantry with room. Currently, my pantry is a broom closet that my husband added shelving to when we bought our house. But it is very narrow and doesn't fit as much as I need it to.

When we built I had a long list of stuff that I needed/wanted. Since this is the last house we intend to build I was making sure I got what I put on that list! The pantry was at the top along with the double ovens.

My kitchen will always be small, even after I remodel it, so when we finished our basement I designed a back-up pantry (for food and my chest freezer) and a closet for infrequently used kitchen supplies (extra serving pieces, odd gadgets, seasonal items, etc.) and since the basement stairs come from the kitchen it has been very convenient. Besides, putting closets in strategic locations in the basement allowed us to hide ductwork and keep the rooms rectangular shaped.

Hmmm... we just bought all new black appliances (5 burner stove) so I am good there. The cabinets are white which I do like with the very dark hardwood floors we have but they are cheap! For now, I really just want granite for the counter tops and the island. And a new faucet in the sink this one is one of those high up ones and it splashes too much. Weird!
