Negative comments that affect a person's or business organization's ability to do business can be considered libel. Our moderators, at their discretion, will delete any discussion or post that could be considered libelous. If you have had a bad experience with a business, please file a report with the Better Business Bureau. If you have a complaint against a healthcare provider or other professional individual, please report it to the proper agency or oversight organization.

1. Advertising: Absolutely no advertising in main discussion forums, groups, events or via any messaging mechanism on the site. Anyone who violates this rule will receive one warning and further violations will result in a suspension or revocation of membership to WNYMoms.com.

What do we consider an advertisement? If you are a business, own a business or any for-profit venture including the owner of a blog, and you post something that will benefit you financially or through other means of compensation. This includes so-called "Affiliate Links" and promo codes.

First, take a 'screen shot' of the message. To do this:

1. Hold the ALT key down and then press the PrtScn key. An image of the active window has now been copied to the "clipboard".

2. Paste the resulting captured image in a message to to me, BuffaloAdmin or to Moderator , an explanation or link to the thread where the trouble began.

Please follow this procedure anytime you contact me so that I can quickly authenticate the message and take proper steps.
