We did very well in 2011 with keeping our eyes on our financial goals. We watched our spending and bought several big-ticket things that we had been saving up for. Now in 2012 we have to set some new goals. We would like to:
1. Re-asses and increase our retirement savings
2. Examine our investments and perhaps re-allocate some funds
3. Continue saving for a trip to Italy (hopefully) in 2013
(Continuing with our frugal lifestyle is a given.)

What about you? What are your financial goals for 2012?

Our big one is to be able to buy a new house. If we can buy where we want. Then also that will help our tax situation so if that all works out our financials will be a lot brighter. In the next two years a lot comes off our plate. One student loan will be gone. Our car will be paid for and also a loan we had to take to help out my mom. This will mean about an extra $1200 a month that we will no longer be putting out which will make things much better in our household. It means more in the bank!
