It's that time of year again. So what is everyone making for or
bringing to the Super Bowl Parties. Please include the recipe. I am
not sure what I want to bring this year so I am looking for a new
idea.

Whenever I'm invited to a Super Bowl Party I'm always asked to brng
my "Rip-Roarin', Belchin' Good Chili".
Actually, that is what got me involved in MLM originally. I'm not
sure if I've posted the recipe here on WNY Moms or not. I'll have
to look and if it's not here and if anyone wants it, I post it.

"RIP-ROARIN'-BELCHIN' GOOD CHILI"
1- lb ground beef (90% lean is best)
2- large cans stewed tomatoes, coarsely chopped
1- 8oz. can tomato sauce
8- oz. water
1- can Mexican Chili beans
1- can dark kidney beans
1- can light kidney beans
1- large onion, coarsely chopped
1- large green bell pepper, seeds removed and coarsely
chopped
6- oz beer (any brand - NOT light beer!)
1- Tablespoon Chili powder
Worchestershire sauce
Sherry Pepper sauce or other hot pepper sauce (to taste)
crushed celery seed or celery salt (to taste)
garlic powder (to taste)
salt and pepper (to taste)
Make the day before you plan on serving. Brown ground beef and
drain and sprinkle with Worchestershire Sauce and set aside. In
large pot, combine tomatoes, tomato sauce, water and beans
(INCLUDING liquid - DO NOT drain). Start to heat over medium-low
heat. Add onion, bell pepper, beer and beef. Stir in remaining
seasonings. Bring to near boil and simmer (covered) for at least 1
hour, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Refigerate over night (to allow the flavors to meld). To serve:
heat to near boiling and simmer (covered) for at least 30 minutes,
stirring occasionally. Serve with crackers and beer (please drink
responsibly) and have a "rip-roarin', belchin' good time".
Good for Super Bowl or any outdoor winter activity (snow mobiling,
ice fishing, snowman making, skiing etc). ENJOY!!
(If you serve during half time of the game, you will be belchin' by
the end of the third quarter and rip-roarin' by the end of the
game)

I just read over my post -- Sorry for the mis-spellings,
but I think you can make it work. (I really need spell-check)

Okay so this is my new favorite and my son can't handle a lot so I
get to enjoy
Jalapeno Popper Dip
2 - 8 oz packages of cream cheese room temp
1 cup mayo
1 cup shredded Mexcian blend cheese
1/2 cup parmesan
1 - 4 oz can chopped green chilies
1 - 4 oz can diced jalapenos (use 2 if you like heat, I do)
1 cup panko bread crumbs
1/2 cup parmesan cheese (for topping)
1/2 stick melted butter
In food processor add first 6 ingredients and blend until smooth.
You do not need to drain the cans of chilies or peppers. Spread dip
mix into greased 2 quart casserole. In a bowl mix breadcrumbs,
parmesan and butter, mix well. Sprinkle topping on top of dip
mixture and bake in preheated oven at 375 for about 20 minutes
until golden brown and bubbly around the edges. I usually go about
30 to be honest here. Serve with tortilla chips or Ritz type
crackers. Yummy!!

We are going to make home made pizza and make good use of our deep
fryer, plus some dips: chicken wing, spinach, and a cheese dip. Not
sure what else we're going to have but it'll all be very
unhealthy

These are amazing, Im making a huge pan on Sunday...
Ham and Cheese Sliders
24 dinner rolls (Hawaiian rolls are perfect)
24 pieces honey ham
24 small slices Swiss cheese
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup miracle whip
Poppy seed sauce below
1 Tablespoon poppyseeds
1 1/2 Tablespoons yellow mustard
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 Tablespoon minced onion
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise and miracle whip. Spread
onto both sides of the center of each roll. Place a slice of ham
and a slice of Swiss inside of each roll. Close rolls and place
them into a large baking dish or heavy cookie sheet. Place very
close together.
In a medium bowl, whisk together all of the poppy seed sauce
ingredients. Pour evenly over all of the sandwiches. You do not
have to use all of the sauce! Just use enough to cover the tops.
Let sit 10 minutes or until butter sets slightly. Cover with foil
and bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until cheese is
melted. Uncover and cook for 2 additional minutes or until tops are
slightly brown and crispy. Serve warm.
** sandwiches can be assembled a day ahead and kept in the fridge
ready to bake

I just might, it sounds good. I will give it to my dad to make,
he's a better cook than I am. He just made Ox tail soup the other
day, it was pretty good.
