I'd never make it as an Irishman. Can't handle the corned beef.
(the cabbage is fine) My grandfather and father were both butchers
by trade. (I learned the trade but only practiced it as a
side-line) As a son-of-a-butcher, I have tried just about
everything edible from liver, kidney and sweetbreads to brains,
tongue and heart. However corned beef is just too salty for my
taste. Offer me any of the above-mentioned items and I'll dine with
you but forget the corned beef.
